I absolutely love this idea! Growi...Mrs. Deyamport,<br />I absolutely love this idea! Growing up as a kid I despised research papers because there was absolutely no creativity behind it. As you said, I didn't like simply throwing facts back at the teacher's face. If they wanted to know these facts so bad all they had to do was google it and there was everything I would have put in the paper right there on google for them to read. But a project like the one you assigned has so much more meaning and influence behind it. This really gives your students a chance to actually get something out of the project besides a grade. With such an interesting historical period to do research on, I am very thrilled that you came up with this outlet for the kids to display what they learned.
